Annual brassica which provides quick growth for plowdown and is very competitive with weeds. Bio-fumigant - releases natural substances while decomposing which makes the surrounding soil toxic to some weeds, nematodes and fungi.
Seeding Rate
Seed in early spring or 4 - 10 weeks before killing frost in fall at ¼ to ¾ inch deep. Broadcast at 10 - 15 lbs/acre (4-6 oz per 1,000 sq ft). Drill at 5 - 12 lbs/acre.
