Howler is a novel biofungicide (Pseudomonas chlororaphis strain AFS009), providing a preventive control of a wide range of soil-borne and foliar diseases in many fruit, vegetable, and field crops. Howler prevents disease through multiple modes of action: producing antibiotics that directly attack pathogens; producing enzymes that break down the cell walls of fungi and prevent attachment of spores to leaves, and inducing plant resistance to inhibit fungal growth. Howler can be used effectively at every phase of production: greenhouse through harvest and post-harvest. For additional uses, please see the Howler Label.
