Nature’s Kelp from Thorvin is a certified organic dried kelp (Ascophyllum Nodosum) from the North Atlantic that is a rich source of trace minerals. Use either as a slow release, non-burning soil mineralizer to improve the texture and fertility of soil or as a supplement to livestock or pet feed. Application Rates

Feed 1 to 2% of dry ration or free choice. Use higher rates as needed, such as when animals are traveling, pregnant, or nursing.

Specific Feeding Rates Per Day

Dairy & Beef Cattle: 1-4oz
Heifers & Calves: ½ - 2oz
Sheep & Goats: ¼ - ½ oz
Poultry: 1 - 2% of ration
Horses: ¼- ½ oz
Swine: 1% of ration

Fertilizer Application Rates

1 lb per 100 sq ft; 5 lb per 1000 sq ft; 200 - 400 lbs/acre
For use on vegetables, fruit, lawns, ornamentals, trees and compost piles. Apply either by broadcasting or lightly cultivating into soil.
